The People Who Make it Work

Justin’s Lighthouse is led by a unique team of talented and loving Adults who’ve been through the fire of dysfunction and come out on the other side. Their personal experiences alone are enough to aid any family in crises, regardless of specific training.

Director of Operations/Chaplain

Dr. Miles K. Lewis contributes a tremendous wealth of business experience and Christian Counseling expertise. Father of 3, Dr. Lewis truly understands the difficulties that parents face in raising children in today’s society.

As an older brother of Justin, he knows first-hand, the pain and anguish that families experience when trying to save the life of loved one who is running out of time, through the use of drugs and alcohol.

Dr. Lewis conducts many of our lectures, groups, and private counseling. He has an open door policy for all the residents and makes himself available to all the residents on a daily basis, as they carry on their journey.

He’ll also be conducting the life skill curriculum “How to develop a business”.

Dr. Lewis has created and operated many successful businesses and currently

serves as Vice-President of Skylark Estate, Inc. parent company of Justin’s Lighthouse and Skylark Cottage (a senior residential care center).

Most days, you’ll find him espousing the virtues of accepting the world around us and forgiving those who’ve wronged us, in order to carry on our own healthy lives.

He uses every interaction with the residents (which is about 12 hours a day) as an opportunity to teach how to love, forgive, and make things happen own your own!

Kitchen/Property Manager/Mentor

Patrick Sprague is an outstanding asset and contributes so much more than we could ever return! Patrick maintains residence on the property and is available to our residents 24 hours a day. Much like an older brother, he encourages our residents throughout their program and holds them accountable for deficiencies. Patrick teaches the young men how to make their words have meaning, regardless of other people’s actions.

His cooking skills make it a pleasure to wake up to every morning and as he enjoys preparing resident favorites, including homemade waffles, pork chops, chili, chicken and cheese and so much more!

His cooking is the pride of our facility and is no ordinary “treatment” food.

Patrick also leads the residents in daily chores, work assignments, and accountability groups.

No job too tough for Patrick and he instills this work ethic in the residents as they learn how to carry themselves in a self sufficient manner.
