Dr. Miles and his wife Tina founded Justin's Lighthouse in 2007, following the accidental overdose death of Justin (Dr. Miles' younger brother).

After years of questioning main stream addiction-treatment model across the country, wondering 'how can an addict seek help from drug rehab facilities but then die 2 weeks after graduating'?

What they found is traditional addiction treatment centers aren't designed for success. They are set-up to bill insurance companies tens of thousands of dollars, per client.

For 2o years, dr. Miles and Tina have operated a recovery program, far surpassing the national average success rates. (national avg / 12% - Justin's Lighthouse / 90%)
